Packaging design for a new snack product from Skippy. Apple Dippers will be sold through vending machines at learning institutions. Existing branding strategies promote a fun and healthy alternative to snacking for tween audiences.

  • present Skippy as a snack choice for an active demographic.

Did you notice?

  • wordplay on “dip“ reinforces product fun
  • window lets you see the contents, per consumer demand
  • the “Skip” character dives into a pool of peanut butter, its edge defines the window.

An R.BIRD Note

The “Skippy” trademarked name is all consumers need, to know this is a peanut butter product. The “apple” aspect is new, however, so we not only say it twice, we show it twice (via illustration and through the window).
