New! Stonyfield "YoBaby" Greener and Bilingual Package
Post a Comment | View Comments (0)

While looking for a baby yogurt among the see of pale and bright colors on shelf in the refrigerated section of the store I noticed a new “Greener” and “Bilingual” version of the (Peach and Pear flavors) of Stonyfield’s “YoBaby” organic yogurt.

What an interesting change from their former package design where a smooth pale solid color was the primary communication point for flavor and kind. Now with new baby model pictures in front of the container and a new very green and grassy background, this packages connotes more of a natural state and a eco friendly feeling. Let’s not forget that they have translated some of the copy of the package, such as variant, i.e.: “peach = pera”, “not for individual sale = no para la venta individual” and “our family recipe = nuestra receta familiar”.

Its nice to see more new Organic and English- Spanish packaging in the market. A reflexion of what consumers ARE and WANT nowadays in the US.
